PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL
History

History

It is often in the face of life’s most adverse circumstances that the doors of new consciousness and discovery open before humanity.

Just as the Bhagavad Gita was not born within the serene confines of university halls, but upon the tumultuous battlefield itself, so too do profound realizations arise from moments of great trial.

Mission

Mission

To establish a living center dedicated to the cultivation of universal brotherhood and public welfare among all human beings - a sanctuary of harmony, free from every distinction of caste, creed, religion, gender, or color.

To found and administer educational and service institutions from the primary to the highest levels of learning - devoted to the study and advancement of diverse disciplines, from the ancient and oriental to the modern and post-modern. These institutions shall serve as beacons for the dissemination of universal knowledge, health, self-reliance, and service to humanity.

Vision

Vision

Philosophical Research Council (PRC) believes that everything may be sacrificed in the service of Truth, yet Truth itself can never be sacrificed for anything.

Guided by this conviction, we have surrendered all else at its altar. Even in the darkest night, when the winds of despair sought to extinguish every flame, we have kept alight the lamp of consciousness, however faint its glow.

Aim

Aim

The paramount goal of Philosophical Research Council (PRC) is to nurture a world where peaceful harmony rests upon the firm foundation of philosophy.

It is a sanctuary for those who have been disheartened by life’s trials, for those deemed irrelevant by family, society, or state - yet within whom the divine seeds of creation still lie dormant.

Why To Join Us

Man is an intellectual and rational being. Since the dawn of civilization, the mystery of his own existence — the nature of the soul, of God, of the world, of mind and body — has stirred the depths of his consciousness. Questions such as Who am I? What is my true existence? Did I exist before birth, and if so, in what form? Will I exist after death, and if not, why not? have ever haunted the thoughtful heart of man. Has my soul been born before this present life? Will the bonds and relationships I cherish endure beyond this birth? What is the essence of my mind, and what is the substance of this body? What is the link between mind, consciousness, and the physical frame? What is the nature of the external world that I perceive - how did it arise, and is it eternal or transient? What relationship does my consciousness or soul hold with it? Is the world I perceive identical for all, or does each being perceive its own reflection of reality? Such questions - vast, profound, and timeless - have troubled the hearts of both the simplest of men and the most gifted of Philosophers since the earliest ages. According to the measure of their intellect, both Eastern sages and Western thinkers have sought to find answers - enshrining their insights in scriptures, philosophies, and sciences. Even today, these eternal inquiries continue to inspire new research, new contemplation, and new understanding. Philosophical Research Council (PRC) stands as a humble yet sincere endeavor - a living platform for the exchange of thought among seekers, scholars, and the curious-minded, dedicated to the exploration of these perennial mysteries. Human consciousness cannot be confined within any limit; it exists in varying degrees among all living beings. It is believed that in the hierarchy of creation, the human consciousness shines the brightest. Yet, this same human being - endowed with the highest awareness - often loses his way while striving to fulfill personal and social ambitions. From birth, parents endeavor to provide their children with the finest education, nurturing dreams of prosperity, honor, and respect. To achieve these aims, man exerts himself with all his might. Those who succeed earn society’s admiration; those who fail, however, fall prey to frustration, disappointment, and despair. In such moments, many are compelled to reflect upon the meaning of their existence. Countless individuals, burdened by the pressures of family, society, and profession, drift into confusion, anxiety, or harmful habits — losing faith in themselves and in life. It is for such souls that Philosophical Research Council (PRC) dedicates its service. Our endeavor is not merely intellectual but compassionate — to offer guidance, support, and renewal to those who have lost their way in the labyrinth of modern life. In this spirit, Philosophical Research Council (PRC) seeks to be a light for the weary, a refuge for the disheartened, and a meeting ground for all who still dare to ask the eternal question: “Who am I?” Membership at Philosophical Research Council (PRC) is open to Philosopher, Scientists, Professors, PhD Scholars, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students, Industry Professionals, Researchers, Technical Experts, Trainers, Entrepreneurs, and individuals from the organized sector with formal education or professional/technical training. Kindly ascertain your eligibility before requesting membership. For any clarification.
